Fabienne Pagnier - Web master for Oxford Amnesty Lectures

With Michael's expert support, I was able to move our existing website to his excellent CMS, finally allowing me to update it myself. He is constantly adding new features that help me develop the site. I'd thoroughly recommend him and the CMS. www.oxford-amnesty-lectures.org

Liam Clarke - Stuff4Print

My company stuff4print.com, is a small start-up company serving different sectors of the printing industry in America. The vast majority of our sales are generated by telemarketing, and our telesales staff work from home across America. Keeping track of the separate spreadsheets they used to make calls and record data was becoming a nightmare – we needed an online system.

I literally spent hours searching for some application that would fulfill our needs, but soon realized that we needed something bespoke. That is when I contacted Trenethick.

From a very simple brief, the guys at Trenethick understood what I wanted, and soon had a skeleton application up and running. The whole project was managed through email, reducing my time committed to a minimum, and their response time was always very prompt.

We now have a fully functional, highly intuitive application, running on our website server, used by the whole team, tracking every sales call they make – Thank you Trenethick, you are Terriffic!! www.stuff4print.com

Michael Thomas - Harvest Fair web site

I was desperate to find a system for running a web site for a community event in a small town and I could not believe my luck when I stumbled across Trenethick.  The ease of operation has been amazing and the help provided - not that it is needed often - was accurate and intuitive.  I would recommend this system to anyone with a basic knowledge of using word processing and file manipulation.  It is just what a small events co-ordinator needs and thank you Trenethick for a great product. www.helstonhf.co.uk

Tony Evershed - Web master for Andrew George MP

I was asked to design a web site. I had no experience of web design – all my work was in advertising: print, film and broadcast media.

Michael Plant's new program, coupled with his patient tuition, made it possible. He recommended appropriate reading, demonstrated how to build pages in html, was helpful and positive when I made a complete mess of things. A web site ain't like print, but I found it possible for a total novice to produce pages which within quite a short time brought the ultimate accolade – offers of work! As the program's capabilities increased, the design process itself became even more straightforward. An early problem was to achieve a consistent appearance across different browsers. But very quickly we had a steady platform in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari – on Apple Mac or PC.

The capacity and potential uses of Michael's increasingly sophisticated program go beyond my requirements – for instance, I have modelled my page designs on news sites (BBC and The Guardian). They are relevant to the newsy nature of the content, with crisp, simple typography and video – but no flashing lights or waving flags, just communication. But the program, while it could, I'm sure, incorporate gimmickry if asked to, also offers a variety of page formats and fonts eminently suitable for elegant, corporate layout and typography. The site is currently changing, to cope with rapidly increasing content and will soon, I hope, demonstrate more fully the flexibility of what Michael has provided. In short, Michael's product is excellent and versatile, simple to use and gives my client exactly what he wanted. www.andrewgeorge.org.uk

Anthony Smith - Owner of Galley Anthony

Michael designed a website for Gallery Anthony that enabled us to update and add content without having to go through the website designer, it is also an eCommerce site where we can sell our paintings and prints.

Michael quickly produced a framework, so that we could see how things would work. Then he interviewed us, my wife and I, to get an overview of everything that we would like from the website. Michael prioritised the main aspects that we wanted, but it soon became apparent that what we were asking for was complex and Michael had to educate us on the implications of that. Then we discussed what was practical, in the timescale, and what could be added on in the future.

The whole process was a big learning curve which, without Michael's patience and support, we would have pulled out of. The main  problem was my expectations, and only through working with the website, did I realise that the complexity I asked for was not appropriate for what we needed. Michael has patiently and quickly implemented all our changes.

Michael set up our Paypal account, so that we can take payments over the internet. Before that in the back ground he also set up a system that we can take online payments using our own merchant account for the future. I cannot express my praise for this, the research he put into this concerning security.

Most of the help provided has been over the internet, through emails and telephone calls, most recently from Germany.

Michael has never made me feel inadequate, in the development of the website, when I have been saying that this particular thing is not working only to discover it was down to me putting it in the wrong place. Michael's generosity of his time and energy, has amazed me, his work ethic and his need to get it right for me is reassuring. There are still people in this world that care about their quality of service and I can assure you Michael is one of those people. www.galleryanthony.co.uk
